Thanksgiving in the Tundra

Well, today I am going home. I'm hopping on a flight this evening that will take me back to a place of fond memories but also sad and angry ones as well. I'm okay with that though. I know that I'll be able to handle anything that happens and I'm more excited than nervous. I will be quite sad however since I have to leave David behind:( If he wasn't hosting Thanksgiving at his place he would be coming with me and could meet the family and friends! I will miss him, but you know what they say...absence makes the heart grow fonder, and it will! My parents are excited to have me back for a few days. They just want a little sanity back in their lives I think. My mom left her position at the school and she's never been happier! haha Now my dad works at the school and pretty much spends all day there. I don't think the man will ever officially retire. And last but not least I will get to see my sister! I know we've both been busy and haven't talked all that much in the past 6 months, but I will be taking this opportunity to catch up with her and give her a few words of wisdom from her 22 year old sister who doesn't know how to paint a freakin wall properly...sorry babe:(. So all in all, I'm excited to go back home, but I will be missing my new home......

So I received flowers at work today from the greatest boyfriend anyone could ever ask for!! THANK YOU!! That totally made my day and I can't stop smiling!! I LOVE YOU!!

exciting weekend!

so to recap my long weekend (i had friday off)..........

-ears pierced...i'm finally a real girl...
-went to see borat...not as bad as i thought...it was funny
-got david's christmas present...pretty kick ass;)
-seahawks won..good!..vikings lost to the packers..bad:(..damn you green bay!

-hopefully getting the game room done!
-excited to go home for thanksgiving...not excited being away:(..all at the same time
-possible girls night this saturday with shellie and amy and whoever decides to show up!..hahahaha...i'm kind of excited for that;)

..........well it's only monday and i'm already having a good week...hopefully i can keep this up!

It's Friday!

It's finally Friday! I've had such a great day and it's going to get even better. Work went really well today, which is contrary to what I was thinking all night. I'm so excited to see David tonight. I see him everyday and everyday I get excited. The closer I get to his house the more excited I get. I'm such a little girl. I'm crazy in love with this guy and I don't know what to do with myself....all I have to do is think about him and I smile. That must be how I get through the day;) I hope the rest of the day/weekend is just as great as I'm feeling right now :)
